Almost there...stalled!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Thank you so much! It really is surreal. Got stuck around 220 for nearly a year before this, so the medication's genuinely helped me keep pushing toward my goals.

Told my doctor the exact same thing yesterday. Plateaued around 8 months back and nothing's moved the scale since, but I kept believing it'd turn around. My last shot though, I was absolutely starving, first time that's happened since kicking this off two years back. Thinking about bumping my dose up, I'm at 1.75 right now.

Truly sorry for your loss, glad your health improved though.

One caution: try not to lock in a specific weight by a specific date, sets you up for frustration if it slips.

Started MJ back in spring 2025. Come winter I felt sure I'd hit goal by early spring this year, definitely by mid-spring at the latest. Not wishful numbers, based on my actual pace at the time. Now it's late June and I'm still 5 pounds out. At peace with it, though still disappointing. Bloodwork and glucose readings look great, satiety and food noise stay in check, so the current dose still works, just gotten painfully slow. Feels like one long plateau most days, even in a solid deficit.

Pace shifts as you go, and while we'll both get there, milestones might land later than planned.

Practically everyone hits a stall eventually. Quite a few members here in maintenance mode fine-tune their amount and timing specifically to keep from shedding more than intended. Try searching a few phrases:

Maintenance on the third compound
Long-term outcomes study
Slower weight loss patterns

Search this community's own archives or a general web search, several existing threads already dig into this. Wishing you well going forward!

Edit: fixed a mislabeled reference after catching my own mistake, appreciate the heads-up!
