Almost there!

I can barely believe this is real. I went from feeling awful every single day with unmanaged Type 2 diabetes and really bad psoriatic arthritis to feeling so much better. My chronic conditions are under control now (remember, Type 2 can only be managed, not cured!). This medication has seriously turned things around for me.

Just need to drop a pound, eh? You've basically accomplished your goal, congrats!

You look fantastic! Congratulations on this victory!

If you don't mind me asking, about how much did you lose total and how long did it take? I'm looking for some motivation!

Way to go!

So close to your goal, that's awesome! Would you mind if I shared your story over on the community? We're putting together a collection of before and after journeys with these meds so people can easily find them. Of course, you're also welcome to post it there yourself if you'd like.

Congratulations what is plan for maintenance if you suggest some tips for us ?

That's the million-dollar question, right? I'm working closely with my doctor to create a sustainable plan. It'll likely involve continuing the medication at a lower dose, focusing on a healthy diet, and staying active. I'll keep you all updated!

I just read something really interesting about semaglutide. Apparently, there's some research suggesting it might even help people with Type 1 diabetes potentially reduce their insulin needs. Here's an article about a study: https://www.hcplive.com/view/diabetes-dialogue-making-sense-of-semaglutide-in-type-1-diabetes

That's fascinating! I've seen some preliminary studies on that as well. It's still early days, but it could be a game-changer for some individuals. I saw another article about it here too: https://gwern.net/doc/longevity/semaglutide/2023-dandona.pdf

These stories are so motivating! I've only dropped 15 pounds so far, but my blood sugar is so much better. I'm even fitting into smaller clothes!

That's so amazing! Keep up the fantastic effort! It's a tremendous feeling when your clothes start fitting better, isn't it?

Yeah, maybe we're pushing a one-size-fits-all angle that doesn't really work here. So many other protocols recommend cycling to avoid desensitization. Pretty soon every compound becomes a special case. 🤪
