Starting weight: 164 lbs
Current weight: 131 lbs
Goal weight: 125 lbs

It's been a journey, and I had a few ups and downs at the start. Staying consistent has really paid off, and I'm so happy with my progress! My routine includes cardio and weightlifting 3 times a week with a couple of walks in there. Plus, I'm eating MUCH better now and feeling fantastic.

I'm getting so close to my own goal, but the last few pounds feel like forever! Congrats on your progress! You're a star!

I'm doing tons of cardio right now (treadmill at a steep incline burns a lot), but I want to start lifting weights soon. Any advice for someone just starting out? Any favorite routines or programs?

I started with a basic full-body routine 2x a week and gradually increased the weight and frequency. There are tons of free programs online, but I found it helpful to work with a trainer for a session or two to learn proper form. Good luck!

That's really remarkable progress. It's so great that you're feeling good too. Sometimes the mental benefits are even more important than the physical ones!
 
I'm just starting out - did you see results right away, or was it a slow process? Did you change your exercise or diet much?
