Anyone else a super-slow loser?

Lemme get an upvote if you're only shedding a pound or less each week! I feel like I'm surrounded by rapid losers!

Me too! You aren't the only one. It feels like practically everyone else is just melting away, but I'm still seeing progress, even if it's slow. I'm just trying to focus on feeling better and making good food choices. I'm trying to ignore the numbers so much.

I'm a bit confused when people describe one pound a week as "slow". I eliminated about 45 pounds over the past year, so a little less than a pound each week. It felt like a fast process!

I hear ya Care_Road. I'm only down about 10 pounds after about four months. I'm sticking with it because it's curbing my appetite, but it looks like this will be a lengthy journey for me. Still worth it though!

If you consistently shed around one pound per week, that equates to approximately 50 pounds in a year. Which is great! That's about what I've experienced. There's value in steady weight loss.

A gradual rate of loss is easier on your skin. Also, eating enough calories supports your metabolism, hair, nail growth, bone density, and collagen. Studies show that people who lose weight quickly tend to regain it.

I've lost 28 pounds in about 7 months. Sometimes I get upset when I read other posts. Looking back on my progress each week, I see the changes. Everyone's journey is different!

I've dropped about 30 pounds over the past 8 months, so count me in. I want to lose another 20-30. I'm giving myself a year to hit my goal. Patience is important, so I'm just gonna keep going.

I dropped the weight fast at first, but now I'm at a half pound per week. At least it's not going up! I lost 18 pounds in the first few months, now it's a slow crawl.

Here's my weight loss month by month, in pounds:

June: -5.1
July: -6.3
August: -5.4
September: -3.6
October: -3.9
November: -3.3
December: -3.6
January: -4.9
February: -1.5

I'm down 37 pounds in 8 months! I had gained 25 pounds in 2020-2021, then lost it in 2022 and early 2023. HW 242, SW 218, CW 181

One pound per week is a victory. Don't stress about it! It may feel slow, but think about where you were a year ago. Imagine shedding 50 pounds since then. It's not that long ago.

It seems glacially slow, but I know it's not. My stomach is flatter. All the small changes add up, and it feels excellent.

I'm jealous of some of you guys' progress, like Flex_Diary834 with his 30lb loss. I've been stuck at around 25 for a while now. I'm diabetic, though, and my blood sugar's way better, so I guess there's that.

167 pounds in 8 months is super impressive, like that one guy said he did! 0. 5mg and 10k steps a day is a fantastic approach honestly. He's really dialed it in.

I agree with Sassy_Good. That Reddit post about the 167 pound loss is just incredible. It really shows what you can achieve with strict adherence to a plan and finding the right dosage.
