Anyone else always freezing now?

Has anyone else turned into an ice cube since starting? I'm constantly shivering. It's still kinda chilly where I live, so I'm curious to see how this feels when summer arrives. Is this a side effect of the meds, the reduced calorie intake, or a combination of both? Or maybe it's just what happens when you shed some insulation (though I still have plenty to spare!).

Totally! I've dropped weight before without feeling this cold all the time. It's different this time.

on ozempic I threw up three times a day and only ate once. switched to mounjaro and now it's just once after dinner.

I'm betting it's a combo of everything. It seems like being cold is a common thing with these meds.

I'm wearing two pairs of socks daily, and I invested in some long underwear from that big online store to wear under my clothes. I always have a sweater or hoodie handy. I have a heated blanket on my bed and another one on the sofa.

I was still chilly last summer, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as this winter has been.

I'm actually looking forward to summer for once. Before, when I was heavier, I was always so hot and uncomfortable. Hopefully, this helps. I'm not at my goal weight yet, still a ways to go, but I've lost some and I'm always cold now.

Same here! I really dislike feeling cold, but I'm hoping my low tolerance for heat gets better. We've had a few warmer days this year and I think I wasn't sweating as much.

Yeah, I have this issue too. I’m a 40 year old female who used to run hot all the time, especially when cooking, cleaning, or getting ready. Now I find myself standing in front of the open oven for warmth while cooking, or sitting on the couch at night wrapped in a bathrobe, blanket, and with a heating pad on!

Along these lines, has anyone had any weird reactions at the injection site? I've been getting an itchy rash after injecting and wondering if it's an allergy. I'm on 2.5mg.

Yes, that sounds like it could be an allergic reaction. It's worth discussing with your doctor ASAP. If it *is* an allergy it could potentially get worse, and there are other meds in the same class you could try.

I have not had that reaction, but it sounds similar to what some patients experienced with sermorelin injections. It might be a reaction to one of the inactive ingredient, or an antibody reaction. Definitely talk to your doctor.

Fatigue hits about 5% of people on these meds. Could be low calories, dehydration, sleep—stuff that usually improves. Check the FDA label for full details.

progesterone drops first before estrogen usually, and a lot of women sleep way better on the oral micronized stuff alone. weight loss tanks your whole balance and it's known even young female lifters go on hrt when cutting hard. hope you find something that works.

Your advice is solid and informed, don't get me wrong, but I think you might not have enough hands-on time with this stuff yet to give the best guidance. People need room for trial and error to understand their goals and what comes after. Once you get that real experience, you'll be unstoppable.

Start with sleep discipline before anything else. Same bedtime, same wake time, shut down an hour before. Meditation actually works (sounds dumb but it does). You're still young—most of this is fixable without extra stuff if you put the work in.

on my 5th shot tomorrow and it's been absolute hell. so tired but can't sleep, body feels heavy, dizzy when i stand. like your friend, barely getting anything done. house is a mess, called out of work, almost passed out cutting the lawn. people say side effects fade but i'm not sure how much more i can handle.
