Anyone else feel like it's cheating?

Okay, so in January of '23 I was pushing 270. Started Mounjaro in May of '25 when I was down to 220ish. As of this month (September '25) I'm hovering around 165.

Currently at 10mg dosage.

Diet is around 1100 calories a day, really focusing on protein intake.

Workout routine: run 3 times a week, lift weights twice a week and swim a couple of times too.

I wouldn't give all the credit to the medication. It sounds like you've made big changes to your lifestyle and are putting in a lot of effort! Awesome work!

I somewhat agree that the drugs are nearly miraculous. I do wish these were available when I was younger. Congratulations!

I think it is worth noting that while these drugs are helpful, they aren't without risk. There are some serious side effects some people experience. I always encourage my patients to research online, but please verify with your doctor.

I saw someone on Reddit dropped over 125lbs in about 6 months... that is pretty insane! They said their doctor told them they are as healthy as a normal 30 year old now. It's pretty incredible what these meds can do when combined with lifestyle changes.

Down 50 here and some days I swear I look identical, but my family disagrees hard. Bigger wins are BP down, energy way up. Your head plays tricks sometimes but the real stuff matters most. You look great and you feel better, that's what counts.
