Anyone else feel this way about weight loss?

Any time I go from eating at maintenance into a deficit, my sleep gets rough for a couple days, then stabilizes. The medication hits different but that calorie deficit piece is real regardless.

I'm no doctor, but if I were in your spot I'd slowly dial the dose down and keep a really close eye on my weight and hunger. Seems like there's probably a lower dose where you could just hold steady and use the GLP to manage appetite without losing more weight.

That's an awesome milestone! I'm genuinely happy for you. Started around the same place and still have work to do, but you're seriously motivating me to stick with it.

started at 245, now at 150 and i'm 5'7. first shot march 3rd and it literally changed everything for me. now the mental shift is harder than the weight loss was honestly. i know there's more work ahead but i'm locked in. feeling good in my own skin for real and that's what matters most.

The body image thing has been real for me too. I hit my target but my brain is still catching up. Walked past a mirror at a restaurant last month and didn't recognize myself for a second. The confusion stuck with me the rest of the evening. My sense of what I look like is totally disconnected from what's actually there now.

We used to crush a big bag of popcorn every week or two for movie nights. Now when we get it, most ends up in the trash after a month because I get tired of it after a few bites. Sad it doesn't hit like it used to, but not complaining.

have you looked at your diet? are you getting enough protein? refined carbs can spike blood sugar and crash hard, which triggers hunger when the crash hits. just my experience tho, not a medical thing.

I'm at 5 months on point-5 after 2 months at point-25. Lost 12 lbs in 7 months eating 1300 cal, good protein and fiber, tons of water. Disabled so not much exercise. Got sloppy after a trip in late Feb, up 5 lbs now. Gonna bump the dose since food noise is back, but hear me: treat this like a diet aid. Get your habits locked first before you go up.

How many glasses of water you drinking daily? What time of day works best for you? Do you feel like you need way more water on this stuff?

sounds like mild binge eating maybe? but old habits come back even on tirzepatide. i also think fast food in moderation is fine. the 'bad day' spiral is probably more psychological than the med failing to work.

got the burps when I ate too many carbs and raw veggies right before bed. had to get up all night. pepto bismol helped a ton though. stopped eating that stuff late and haven't had it since.

Will add more as I keep trying different things. Did another round of ATX-304 and it definitely dropped extra weight on top of other efforts. Both times I used it the scale moved. Trade-off is that each time my scans showed meaningful loss of lean tissue. Got 10g coming from overseas to experiment with for that AMPK boost.
