Anyone else freezing on these meds?!

Bodies are weird. I often had those chills while on the other medication, the sema one. Never once on this one, tirzepatide.
 
Haha, so glad this thread exists... I'm over a month in, and I used to love being cold... now I'm freezing haha
 
Ok, so I'm glad I'm not alone. I've also been crazy tired since I upped my dose. Wonder if that's a side effect too? Anyone else experiencing fatigue?
 
I'm having the hardest time with fatigue too! Second week here, and while the appetite suppression is great, I'm so tired. Started feeling very clammy too... almost reminds me of low blood sugar. Which is weird, because I've been monitoring my glucose and it's normal. Anyone else feel like that?
 
I'd suggest checking your calorie intake. If you're not eating enough, you're gonna feel wiped out. There are calculators online to figure out your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). Just search on Google.
 
For those with fatigue, have you guys had your iron checked? Low iron can definitely do that to you.
 
Lost to 196 on 15mg zepbound before insurance cut off. Tried wegovy, rebounded to 230. Now both me and wife on tirz, started 2.5. I did 2.5 four weeks, 5 for two, 7.5 for two—zero effects. Wife doing normal schedule and responding great. Given my history at max dose, safe to jump to 10?
 
Yes! Summer here too, and recent ones have been brutal. This year, actually manageable being outside without feeling like melting. Winter though, froze completely and was grateful more than once for heated seats in the car, ha.
 
Based in Australia here and haven't run into quite that exact thing. What does happen though is feeling absolutely frozen and wiped out for two days straight after each injection. Ended up leaning on ready meals and convenience food, frozen breaded chicken tenders tossed in the air fryer for instance, that come together hot in minutes instead of the whole-food cooking that happened more often in warmer months.

Maybe that fullness sensation combined with feeling cold and drained plays into this somehow? Or perhaps it's really just not wanting to cook at all. Hoping this gets sorted and starts working smoothly again soon.
 
No problem, happy to help, these questions are actually fun to dig into. Funny enough, right in the middle of a heatwave I had this weird side effect, freezing cold, feet like ice. Had to bundle up indoors. Strange one.
 
During a stretch on reta, noticed being constantly chilly the whole time.

Ended up layering up indoors regularly, and once summer rolled around barely needed the air conditioning, ended up setting it noticeably warmer than usual.
