Anyone lose on the baby doses? .25 or .5?

started too high on this and felt terrible. scaled way back to 1mg for 20 nights, switched to nasal spray instead of shots. total game changer—deep sleep went from like 30 mins to solid. maybe run it 10–15 days every month from now on.

been on mounjaro for 12 weeks, taking my first 7.5mg dose tonight. three months ago at my checkup my a1c had jumped to 8.1 so my doc started me on this. now it's down to 5.4 and i'm 19 pounds lighter with one less pant size. side effects have been minimal. nervous about the bump but appetite suppression's wearing off early in the week so it's time.

Texture and smell sensitivity on GLP-1s at low doses is real - the sensory changes often arrive before significant appetite suppression, which catches people off guard early.

totally agree on staying at 0.25 until you see what it's actually doing. the dose escalation pressure from online communities is real but the baseline is still only 4 shots in. people do lose on the starting doses - it's less common but not rare. what's appetite and intake looking like at 0.25 currently?

0.25mg causing inability to eat or drink for 3 days is the severe early response that creates the dose tolerance paradox - the side effects are too bad at the starting dose but working through them gave a better outcome. The baby doses can work but the early side effect experience at that level varies enormously. What dose were you ultimately able to settle at?

Some people see results right away, though a chunk of that is often just water shifting. Others don't notice anything until reaching the stronger doses around 1.0 or higher, that was exactly my situation. Year later though, 50 pounds down.
