Anyone tried the new pill form GLP-1?

Just wanted to pop in and give a very brief report. I started taking Orforglipron samples Saturday. Popped one Sunday since weekends are tough for me, food-wise. Definitely felt more satiated all day. I'm still a bigger person, so I managed almost 2000 calories, but it took so little effort to keep the calories reasonable.

Took my regular injection this morning, and I'm feeling even *more* full than usual on injection days. The injection usually kicks in on Tuesday for me. So there's gotta be some Orforglipron still working, even though I skipped a pill today. Early next year, I'm planning a month-long experiment just on Orforglipron after my current supply is gone, and I'll document it. Thought I'd share since there's not much info here or anywhere else about it.

The pills I got tested at approximately 9mg each. Only had one so far. Once I finish my current vial of tirz, I'll run a solo experiment with Orforglipron and share results.

I was able to find two bottles, but both were obtained indirectly and used. One came from a reseller who decided not to sell it. The other was from a group purchase. Both were from the same Uther batch.

If you're into crypto, a vendor sells orforglipron (90 count, lab tested at 13+ mg each) for $205 plus $30 shipping. They may have community members who can ship cheaper for a fee, without the need for crypto.

I messed around with Orfor too, just to see. No sides, and it did help with my appetite. I sometimes get intense sugar cravings on Reta 8 mg, and Orfor helped chill that out. Only used it for a few days. Good for holiday eating!

One vendor sold out, so now there's only one domestic source for orfo. Eventually, if insurance covers it, there will be less need for research chems, even for those of us who aren't as big anymore:

But the retail price will likely still be high. Like $150 a month for the lowest doses, increasing to $400 for the strongest doses. Not *that* much cheaper than Zep when paying out of pocket.

It's interesting that orforglipron isn't a peptide, but rather a small molecule processed by the liver. This means a higher risk of drug interactions, especially with meds that also use liver detoxification pathways. Another similar drug never progressed past phase 2 trials due to concerns about liver effects. We should monitor side effects carefully, especially when taking other medications.

With orforglipron potentially getting fast track approval, I think more people will be searching for it. The retail cost isn't that crazy more than the gray market price, so hopefully the gray market cost will go down.

Only if the other med uses CYP3A4, which is what orfor uses. Orfor isn't a strong inhibitor or inductor, so not much interaction. And there are no studies showing liver toxicity.
