AOD 9604 Cycling - What's worked?

I'm also curious. I've read some people take AOD for 5 days on, 2 days off without end, but I don't know if that's right. Plus, with secretagogues like ipamorelin, sermorelin, and tesamorelin, if you stack two for, say, two months, can you cycle to the one you weren't using, or do you need to cycle off all secretagogues completely?

I wasn't a fan. I took 300 mcg a day, and it just felt like pointless injection. I switched to 4-6 IUs of HGH, and the results have been amazing. Constant fat and weight loss, plus muscle retention. I take dandelion root for water retention and metformin/berberine for my blood sugar. Stacks great with Reta and TRT. Couldn't be happier.

It's probably good to take breaks. I posted my ipa/tesa bloodwork at another forum along with DEXA results. My IGF-1 levels went up a lot, even higher than normal for my age, but my blood glucose and insulin went up a lot too.

I'm using HGH now that my insulin and glucose are back down. I want to do 3-4 IU long-term if my bloodwork stays okay.

Are you saying the AOD isn't doing anything and I should stop? I'm taking AOD, MOTS-C, and tirzepatide... I recently added BPC-157, CJC1295, and Ipamorelin, plus GHK-Cu for loose skin and Selank for anxiety.

I wouldn't say you "need" to stop it, but there's no solid proof it does anything in humans, and how it works in rodents doesn't translate the same way to humans.

I literally just started AOD like 2 days ago. I'm getting itchy, burning bumps at the injection site. Is that normal, or is 500 mcg too much? If it's probably not even working, I'll stop, but what's another option that's better?

Why not just use HGH? If you're already using GLP-1s, your blood sugar should be fine. AOD 9604 costs more than HGH but gives you way less, at least from what I've seen. I've probably taken 300 mg of AOD, and tons of different kinds of HGH. HGH can't be beat.

Should I stop the AOD and switch to HGH? I'm getting red, itchy reactions from the AOD, and it's the only peptide that's ever done that. Is there a specific HGH that helps with weight loss and insulin resistance? Food isn't the issue, it's more hormone-related weight gain. I'm also taking Reta, and Sema, but I'm switching to Tirz.

HGH is a 192-amino acid chain. AOD 9604 is a modified version of the last 16 amino acids of that chain. These are responsible for the fat loss properties of HGH, but it's modified to extend the half-life.

AOD 9604 comes as AOD 9604 Acetate Salt. It needs to be mixed with a tiny amount of hydrochloric acid and freeze-dried to remove the salt. How well the acetate salt is removed depends on the freeze-drying and the amount of hydrochloric acid used. If the reaction doesn't happen correctly, you might have some HCl or salt left over, which could be causing your reaction. Don't quote me on that, though, lol.

There's only ONE type of HGH--the 192-amino acid chain. It WILL affect your blood sugar. The best way to manage that is short bursts of exercise after eating. A 10-minute walk after each meal works wonders. I also take a lot of HGH compared to most people (about 36 IUs daily).

What do you mean by hormone weight gain?

I made the mistake of trying a bunch of things at once, but then you can't tell what's doing what. Now I stick to TRT, 4-6 IUs of HGH, and Reta, slowly upping the dose over time. I just added MOTS-C to see if it adds anything.

I'm around 200 lbs, so not huge, just dumb.

I take it all at night, so I'm basically asleep for 10 hours. You have to watch your blood sugar. Cardio, walks after meals, metformin or berberine, and maybe slin if needed. Most of the guys I talk to use between 9 and 18 IUs of HGH a day.

Nah, not shredded. Probably low teens body fat. I'm eating 4800 calories a day while losing fat and building muscle. Probably because of the latest shot I'm using.

So, AOD increases your glucose levels? I was pre-diabetic before GLP-1s, and after starting them, my levels dropped below pre-diabetic. I don't want to raise my glucose now that it's down.
