Hey all, 45F, 5'3". Highest weight was 203, started meds at 183 (pic on the left!). Current weight is 129.

Tapering down from my maintenance dose now. Keen to hear from anyone who's been on maintenance for a while... what's worked, what hasn't. I'll be sharing my own journey as I go. Ask me anything!

You look amazing! We're the same height and weight, but I definitely look more like your before picture. Guess I need to get moving!

Wow, our stats are almost identical! I'm 5'3.5", started around 210 lbs and now I'm at 129. Started meds in April too. That's pretty cool!

You look fantastic! Also, as a Florida native, I love your gator tattoo! Anything that reminds me of the Everglades is a win in my book.

You've got abs! I'm around your age, and that's my goal too. Thanks for the inspiration!

And yeah, I'm a guy, but abs are still abs.

Did you notice the scale move much with working out, or was it more about the changes in your pictures/measurements? I'm on sema, and sometimes the scale doesn't budge, but friends and family say they can see a difference. I'm doing strength training too.

For me, it was a bit of both. The scale definitely moved, but the biggest difference was how my clothes fit and how I looked in pictures. The scale can be deceiving sometimes, especially with strength training.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so focusing on how your clothes fit and how you feel is important.

That's a good point! I've been so focused on the number on the scale that I haven't really paid attention to those things. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm hoping to get off the meds eventually. Anyone have luck with maintenance after stopping? I'm scared the food noise will come back full force.
