AS Help: Any Pep Recs?

Hey, looking for some advice on dealing with ankylosing spondylitis. Anyone know of any peptides that might help? Also, are there sources for biologics similar to the peptide market?

The biologics used for autoimmune issues can cause some pretty serious side effects, like weakening your immune system and making you more prone to infections. Using them without a doctor's supervision seems risky, and could potentially be fatal. I don't think you'll find them at the usual online peptide vendors, which is probably a good thing. They're mostly antibody-based, making them harder to produce than peptides. You might get different opinions elsewhere, but there's not much solid evidence from human trials that any peptides help with inflammatory arthritis. Any research showing possible benefits is usually from cell or animal studies, which doesn't guarantee anything for humans. You may have to stick with standard medical treatments.

Hey, fellow AS warrior here! I use a combo of Tirz/reta for dropping pounds and some anti-inflammatory effects, plus Klow, Glutathione, small doses of HGH, and a low-starch diet. Somewhere in all that, I've found almost complete relief from flare-ups and ongoing aches.

One thing I'm avoiding if at all possible is biologics for the long haul. Those are intense treatments that can lead to a whole bunch of other problems... which then need more meds!

Good luck! AS sucks, but I've been fighting it with tons of exercise, diet, and supplements for years and have managed to avoid the usual meds most doctors push.

Hey Lean_Set, have you looked into Ipamorelin? I used sermorelin for a while with little results but lots of sleep issues. Switched to ipamorelin, and although it's early days, I'm hopeful. I've heard some people get it online cheaper. Anyone have a source?

Totally agree with you about biologics!

This is correct. Biologics are powerful medications and should NEVER be used without proper medical supervision and monitoring. There are significant risks involved.

Just a note of caution regarding online peptide vendors. Not all are created equal. Some products may not be what they claim to be. Look for vacuum-sealed vials that dissolve easily in bacteriostatic water as indicators of quality.

I'm looking into tesamorelin and ipamorelin for fat loss, particularly for fatty liver. Has anyone used these together? I'm also curious about the best way to mix them with bacteriostatic water and calculate the dosage. I've seen some people use insulin pens for injections.

Tesamorelin has shown promise in treating fatty liver. It's similar to Ipamorelin, and they are often used together. Tesamorelin, as Egrifta, is approved for lipodystrophy. Ipamorelin can also aid in weight loss. For Tesamorelin, the usual dose is 2mg, five days on, two days off, injected at night before bed.

BPC-157 is the most frequently cited for inflammatory back issues - the evidence base is thinner than people imply but the anecdotal pattern is consistent enough to be worth investigating.
