Back in my wedding dress!!

Started on tirzepatide back in March because my blood sugar was creeping up (and yeah, I was also done with being too heavy). I started around 175 lbs, and now I'm down to 130. I never went above 7.5mg injections and now I'm just staying on 5mg. I try to get some exercise and eat pretty well most of the time, but I def have days where I just eat whatever.

That's just fantastic!!! You go girl!

I wish I still had my wedding dress from '91. I was so skinny then. My youngest, who's a size zero, could probably wear it now and I'd just feel worse, haha.

I started at about the same weight as you, aiming for the same goal. I'm halfway to my goal. My 25th anniversary is coming up this August, and I've set a new goal to rock my wedding dress again. Thanks for the motivation, you look incredible!

I saw a pic of me on my wedding day. I couldn't have weighed more than 105 lbs. I don’t want to be that small again. I'd be happy at 120 lbs. That's what I weighed in high school.

Being able to fit into your wedding dress after all these years is such a special thing; a win like that hits different. I can feel the happiness in your message. Would you mind if I shared this on the community? It's a place where people put up their GLP1 progress pics. Milestones like this really motivate everyone. You could also post it yourself if you'd prefer.

Way to go! Congrats on all the effort! I'm so proud of you and I hope you feel fantastic.

Any advice for those of us still working toward our goals?

My 10-year wedding anniversary's coming up next year, and my big goal is to fit into my wedding dress again. 🥺 Congrats to you!!

Such a beautiful dress! 🥹 I'm back around my wedding weight now, too, with pretty similar numbers to you. The difference those pounds make is huge 😅

I'd say be patient and celebrate every victory, no matter how small! Even if you just lose a pound or two in a week, that's still progress!

I saw someone post about losing 75 pounds in under six months. That's incredible! I've been on this for about 4 months and only lost about a dozen pounds. It's a little discouraging seeing other people's faster progress.

Everyone responds differently! Don't compare your path to others. Focus on your own journey and the positive changes you're making for your health. Celebrate non-scale victories too!
