Barely managing 1000 calories a day on Ozempic - is starvation mode a real thing?

I'm forty seven and honestly running on fumes. Twelve months in now, dose and doctor both changed partway through, and I hit a brutal plateau last month that hasn't budged no matter what I try. Before I ever touched a GLP-1 I was already eating on the lower side, and now I physically can't get myself past a thousand calories most days. Food just doesn't interest me, and pushing past that makes me feel sick. Problem is the scale hasn't moved in weeks even sitting that low, and I'm too drained to exercise because I'm not fueling myself at all. Before starting I was eating fifteen to eighteen hundred and walking regularly and still wasn't losing anything consistently either. I track everything down to the gram so I know the numbers are accurate, this isn't a logging issue. Is this actual starvation mode where the body locks everything down, or is something else going on with my metabolism after all these months. Losing hair now too and that's got me worried.

i hear you on that, but ive tried tracking calories so many times and it just never sticks for me. honestly i cant even tell if im under or overeating most days. ive seen a bunch of videos saying you actually need to eat enough to lose weight properly. maybe the move is tracking for just one week to actually see whats going on with my intake.
