I learned the hard way that I needed to take some unflattering 'before' pics. I actually had to grab some screenshots of a video to get a real idea of what I looked like before I started trying to pose to look thinner. Then I did the same thing recently, no posing. It's tempting to suck it in or whatever, but resist! Future you will appreciate seeing the actual change.

I almost blew off the before pics. But a month in, comparing them really showed me the progress. My telehealth doc at Zappy Health was big on this, said the scale lies but the camera doesn't.

Fantastic progress! Are you seeing a regular endo, or using an online prescriber? My regular doc says my insurance won’t cover the meds, so I'm looking for an online option but I'm nervous about picking the right one.

Awesome, congrats on your journey, you look incredible!! I'm also 5'2 and weigh about 175 lbs right now! I just took my first dose on Sunday. Any chance you'd share your diet/exercise routine or any tips for someone with the same body type? I'm hoping to drop about 20 pounds by Christmas if I can 🙈

Sure! Honestly, the biggest thing was the medication itself. It helped me cut way back on portion sizes without feeling deprived. I also try to walk for at least 30 minutes most days. Nothing too crazy!

I'm using an online service too. My insurance also wouldn't cover it. It's definitely scary picking one! I just went with one that had good reviews and seemed to have real doctors.

It really is amazing how even a small amount of initial weight loss can have such a visible impact on body composition. The GLP-1s seem to really target visceral fat, which is both good for overall health and appearance.

Saw someone else posted before/after pics the other day... 8 months, HUGE difference! Makes you think! Good luck to all on your journeys!
