Best bite first? Anyone else?

Anyone else find they're not saving the yummiest part of their food for the very last bite anymore? I used to always save what I thought was the most delicious part of my meal for the finale, almost without even realizing it. It was like a reward for finishing everything on my plate, which I just *always* did, no questions asked.

Now, I just enjoy the best bits whenever I feel like it, because honestly, there's a pretty good chance I'll realize I'm satisfied before I've cleaned my plate. And I'm still getting plenty full, and still losing weight at a sustainable pace. I just know when I've had enough. It's pretty great.

It's such a weird shift, right? Like I'm actually listening to my body instead of just operating on autopilot. @new-me-who-dis You should totally try it! It's surprisingly freeing!

I've found that it's not just about eating habits, either. I've noticed a definite decrease in inflammation throughout my body since starting my GLP-1. My doctor says it's a common effect, and that some researchers are even looking into heart health benefits that aren't solely tied to weight loss, but to decreased systemic inflammation.

That's interesting about the inflammation, @Trail_05. I've also noticed some unexpected upsides. My impulse control is way better now, which is a HUGE plus for my ADHD!

I'm only a few days in, but I think I know what you mean, @Morgan1979. Food just isn't screaming at me anymore. It's so quiet in my head!

Exactly! I've been finding myself wondering what to even *think* about now that I'm not constantly planning my next meal. It's kind of wild.

In all the years I've been here, I can't think of anyone joining just to ask where to find something dangerous. It's really about reading the whole conversation, taking time to research, staying curious, and learning before making a major decision instead of asking for the easiest shortcut.

Carb addict and diets never lasted past first bite of my drug food. This is a tool that empowered me and probably extends my life. Risks are less than my heart attack or stroke chances were. Never been this hopeful. Kids don't want me going early.

Why hand someone else the keys to how you feel about yourself? That's just giving away your power. Do what works for your health and let all that noise fade away.

Dosing too fast early on kills a lot of people's commitment. Glad you caught your husband's situation. Starting low and going slow makes a real difference.

Can't eat for an hour after waking since I take thyroid meds first and these slow absorption so need extra time. Usually energy drink, lunch is protein with a bar of some kind. Gym after work or go straight home and eat. Smaller snack later then bed. Try to avoid eating close to sleep for better rest.

coworker and i talked about yo-yo dieting and metabolism. he struggles with weight, can't keep it off. then when glp-1s came up he said everyone he knows is on them and called it cheating.

on month two of 7.5 losing steady, like 3-5 lbs a month which i'm cool with. but my favorite foods are OFF the table now — even thinking about them makes me sick. all i want is fruit smoothies and spaghettios. appetite's gone. anyone else hit this wall?

Hi all, taking that oral form and since day one feeling real cold. Have not dropped any yet. Internal chill feeling. Any of you have this?
