Best vial size for reconstituted Reta?

I'm trying to figure out the ideal vial size so I don't have to keep reconstituted Reta in the fridge for too long. How are you managing this? Is like, two months too long if I'm shooting for 1mg a week?
 
I try to use it all up within about 8 weeks. Anything longer and I'll split it and freeze half. Nothing I use is super sensitive except the GHK-CU in KLOW, but my biggest vials of that are 6 weeks anyway.

My thinking is this: I'm not young, I filter everything, my sterile technique is pretty good, and I almost never get sick and heal quickly. If I wasn't any of those things, I'd aim for a shorter time.
 
Thanks, that's all really useful! 10mg vials and under 10 weeks seems reasonable. I'm planning on using BAC water and good sterile technique, so hopefully no issues. Thanks again!
 
Sounds like a good plan! Just adding my 2 cents: make sure you use a reputable brand of BAC water, keep your reconstituted vial in the fridge, and swab with alcohol before and after drawing from the vial. Give it a quick look each week to make sure it's clear and not clumping up.
 
I haven't started my Reta yet, but I'm probably gonna give it a shot. Tirz worked fine after freezing, and so did some other stuff. I'd be surprised if Reta was significantly worse.
 
I've frozen Reta twice now 'cause I had these huge vials. I added bac water, split it in half, added more to the part I'd use first, and froze the other half. Did this twice now and haven't noticed any difference in how it feels between the frozen stuff and the fresh stuff, or even my other vials from the same source. Just got a good deal on the big ones, lol.
 
FYI, the manufacturer of Hospira BAC says to store it in a cool, dark place... "Do not refrigerate." Alcohol works better at room temperature, too.
 
Oops, my bad! I didn't word that very well. I meant use Hospira brand BAC, but keep the reconstituted vial in the fridge. I keep my BAC at room temp, reconstituted vials in the fridge, and the powder vials in the freezer.
 
Can you freeze a vial (not for later use) but to give it to my brother who's also on Tirz? That way, he wouldn't have to keep puncturing stopper on my vial.
 
I just took my first dose from a previously frozen vial and I'm still here! Felt a bit nauseous, but it might have been a slight dose change. I'll update after a day or two since it usually takes 24-48 hours to feel the full effects.
 
I haven’t actually seen the tests, but I've heard that Reta doesn't hold up as well as Tirz when frozen after it's mixed. It apparently doesn't completely fail, but there can be a bigger purity drop.
 
I always err on the side of caution with peptides. If there's any question about sterility, I'd toss it. Better safe than sorry, especially when you're injecting something into your body.
