Bet You Cannot Answer Three Simple Questions About The COA You Trust

Sounds aggressive, that is the point. Here are the three questions, and if you can answer all of them without googling, you genuinely earned the right to trust your vendor.

First, who physically took the sample that got tested, the buyer or the seller. Second, from which batch was it drawn, and did that batch correspond to the shipment you personally received. Third, who paid the lab for the analysis.

Sit with those for a second. The answers describe how much of the chain between the manufacturer and your door is actually covered by that certificate. In most cases the honest answer is a single vial, selected by an interested party, financed by the same party, describing a moment in time rather than the batches that shipped.

Notice what I am not saying. I am not accusing anyone of fraud. Plenty of vendors run legitimate operations with clean product. I am saying the document does not carry the weight people place on it, and the confidence in threads about this comes from the paper, not from the practice.

So take the bet. Answer the three questions for the vendor you currently use, publicly or privately. Anyone who passes all three, I will happily concede this thread to them.
