Bigger sterile vials?

I'm gonna try filtering my peptides now, and have a question about sterile vials - specifically the size.

Is it a good idea to switch to a larger vial - like going from a 3ml to, say, a 5ml sterile vial after mixing and filtering? I probably won't be adding much BAC (maybe 1.5 - 2ml) for my Tirz. I really don't want to inject more than 15 units per dose.

I already have the formula for mixing, but I was just wondering about the vial sizes.

I don't know if there's a minimum recommended vial size for mixing/filtering, but 5ml would give you more options than 3ml when you're dealing with peptides that need more bac (weaker strength) to lessen injection site reactions, or if you're mixing a couple different peptides.

I filter into 3ml pen carts myself but I'll prob get some 5ml vials for when I need the extra room.

I usually filter into a new, sterile vial that has a self-sealing cap. I only go bigger if I think I'll need to add more bac water than will fit in a same-sized vial. Less air is better, I believe. I did go up a size for a potent Klow recon because I heard more bac reduces discomfort, but then I split it into sterile carts afterward.

From what I understand, some compounding pharmacies ship certain peptides already reconstituted. This is generally discouraged, as peptides are most stable in their lyophilized (powder) form. Unless shipped and stored under very specific temperature controls, the stability and efficacy of a reconstituted peptide can be compromised. It's always best to reconstitute yourself immediately before use. I'd be very wary of anything shipped already mixed.

So, I'm kinda new to this... I just got a vial of a GHRP and I'm a bit confused about how much water to add. I'm aiming for 100mcg doses, four times a day. Any tips on how to figure out the right amount of water to mix in? I'm using insulin syringes.

Okay, here's how I do it... let's say you have a 15mg vial. If you add 7.5mL of bac water, then each 0.05mL (or 5 units on an insulin syringe) will give you 100mcg. It can be kinda tricky to measure such a small dose accurately, so some people prefer to dilute it even further.

I agree with MojoRising74 - diluting it more makes it easier to measure. When I was using GHRP, I always mixed it on the more diluted side just to make drawing such a small dose less of a pain. It's much easier to draw 0.1mL than trying to get 0.01mL exactly!

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I think I'll grab some 5ml vials just to have the extra room for flexibility. Better safe than sorry, right?
