Booze on GLP-1s?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Look, these work to actually improve health. They're not like drugs where you just chase a high and wreck yourself. And they won't hurt anyone else either. Yeah, there's gotta be some regulation. But if someone wants to improve their body and they're not hurting anyone? That should be their call.

I microdose, zero issues with alcohol or anything else. Little to no side effects, just steady slow weight loss. That's been my experience.

the clinical trial work on GLP-1 for alcohol use disorder is one of the more interesting emerging indications - the same reward circuit dampening that reduces food noise appears to reduce alcohol-seeking behavior through a similar mechanism. the trials are still early but the effect is consistent enough across community reports to be credible as a real pharmacological mechanism

Drink normally across the board honestly, wine, beer, spirits, whatever's available. Just have to test personal tolerance since everyone reacts differently. Never actually heard of that particular drink measurement before, new one for me.

Had two glasses of wine one night, woke up hungover with brutal heartburn. Figure it was the slower digestion doing that. Once was plenty to convince me not to try it again. Honestly don't even miss it.

Same mindset here honestly. Skip juice, soda, and alcohol across the board. Aware cocktails tend to pack in quite a bit of sweetness, so probably worth hunting down lower sugar alternatives.

"Worried this might really mess things up for me".

Well, it doesn't interact with your medication. Drinks might hit harder or take longer to feel.

If your worry's specifically about the medication side, you should be totally fine.

Took a cruise vacation while running this medication class. Held up fine overall, though by now, this far into everything, my husband's fully caught onto the fact that I order everything just to sample it. Plenty of meals ended with most of the plate untouched, though still tasty. Biggest letdown was the beverage package I'd purchased, took me nearly the whole trip to actually get my money's worth. Did find a spot onboard mixing an incredible Bellini though, ended up having a couple most days.
