I am so with you HawkClean. I had this one friend that was always the skinny one, and now that I am getting thin too (thanks to GLP-1s) she is acting all weird! Like I have taken away her power or something LOL

Had a couple beers once while taking semaglutide and ended up wide awake at 3am feeling absolutely wrecked. Not really worth it if you ask me, the hangover's noticeably rougher than usual. Best to just follow what your doctor told you.

Used to be a nightly whiskey guy for years. Pretty much overnight, the craving just vanished. Still have one occasionally, but more like once or twice a month these days.

One year now. Might take a small taste of wine occasionally but honestly have zero real interest anymore, and I'm grateful for that. Used to go through a whole box every couple days. This medication genuinely turned things around for me.

I used to have several beers on Friday nights, or a whole bottle of wine. Since semaglutide, drinking alcohol honestly disgusts me. Didn't know that could be a side effect.

Careful with alcohol. A single beer on the evening of my first injection left me miserable all night with reflux and burping. It can also hit harder and linger longer with rough side effects. Since I started Mounjaro I've had zero desire to drink.

Forget drinking on semaglutide. Two weeks ago I went out with a friend and downed 8-9 pints of Guinness. Horrendous bloating and gas, then a brutal hangover, mother of god. Beer is off for me 100% until my course of meds ends. I've got two weeks in Spain coming and I won't drink there either.
