BP still high on GLP-1s?

Sodium intake doesn't always equal blood sodium levels. Hyponatremia's often treated with fluid restriction. I have adrenal insufficiency and metabolize liquids as body mass, diluting my bloodstream, and lowering sodium. Your 118 is critically low! Good call going to the ER!

Hydrocortisone and fluid restriction keep my sodium in check. Frequent labs help too.

Saw an interesting graphic about GLP-1s possibly boosting testosterone. Might be something to consider, especially if you're a guy and feeling a bit sluggish. Worth discussing with your doctor, maybe?

Overindulging once and being uncomfortable for hours instead of days is the difference these meds make. Getting back on track the next morning shows control.

Interesting thoughts about GLP-1 and testosterone! I've been reading that future research should look into combining GLP-1s with testoserone since GLP-1s can cause sarcopenia.

That's interesting, I did start feeling better after a few weeks on Tirz, but chalked it up to losing the weight and being able to move around better.

I saw a post about someone's A1c dropping from 13 to 8 in ONE MONTH on just a low dose of Ozempic! And they lost about 5 lbs too! Amazing how fast it can work for some people. My own decrease wasn't that quick, but it was still impressive.

Stuck in a 5 lb band for months and then one dose bump moving things again is the pattern that makes titration worth trying before giving up. Going to 2mg at diabetes dosing turned out to be what was needed. BP response to weight loss can lag the weight change by weeks or months - how long has it been elevated despite the loss?
