Brain adjusting to new me!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The 'paid for it, can't waste it' logic runs deep and takes surprisingly long to unlearn even when the physical hunger is gone. The shift to stopping at satisfied rather than empty plate is one of the changes that outlasts the medication itself. Near-goal with that mental shift already in place is a good position to be in for maintenance.

Dealing with this too. Photos show a smaller person, yet the view straight down at my own body still reads as bigger than what's real.

Hit way harder than expected honestly. Physical changes are nice, sure, but shedding all that constant low-grade worry humming in my head all day turned out to be the real win. Didn't realize how much of my brain was occupied by thinking about my body until suddenly it wasn't anymore.

Since dropping the weight, movement's gotten so much easier, energy's way up, and I'm way more focused on fitness and conditioning now. The gym practically feels like a second home at this point, loving every bit of it. Thanks, mounjaro.

That's incredible, congrats! Bet catching a glimpse in the mirror still stops you in your tracks sometimes too, same here. Pretty much done losing at this point, but thankfully the newness of this whole health and size shift hasn't faded yet.

First off, huge congrats, that's a massive number to hit. The mental side of it took me a good while to catch up too, I'd lost a big chunk of weight once before in an earlier chapter of life and even then the mirror thing was rough. It's weird, it's not really about the weight itself but somehow also completely is. Never fully cracked how to fix that part honestly, best I've found is just keep doing things you enjoy, spend time with people who lift you up, treat others well, eat decently, don't run yourself into the ground, and find hobbies that pull you outside your head a bit. Mostly I just stopped looking in mirrors as much, if I'm honest. You're doing great, keep it up.

Congratulations! That's absolutely incredible. Hoping you're feeling great! Wish I knew what I'll feel like 30 pounds from now, honestly barely recognize how I feel even today. It's shifted so fast, at least mentally. Keep reaching for my usual XXL shirts even though they hang off me now. Wearing an XL just feels wrong somehow.

Every point you made lands, and first off, huge congrats on showing up for yourself like this. You're crushing it. Are you tall or more petite build? For some reason weight loss on taller people seems to stand out more, maybe it's just how it distributes across a bigger frame, but you'd almost expect the opposite on someone smaller framed. Not totally sure honestly. Weight in general is such a strange thing to wrap your head around, and body dysmorphia makes it even stranger. Like, I've cycled through gaining and losing more times than I can count, and once I get lean and then gain some back, I somehow still perceive myself as smaller even though the number's higher, how does that even work? Our brains just play tricks I guess, but seriously, keep grinding away and hopefully you start noticing the shifts as clearly as you're feeling them. Try tracking with a tape measure, betting you'll spot a real difference :)

Your body might just be doing something different than the scale shows. Tracking any measurements? Ever since May my weight's hovered around 81-82 kilos, but today it hit me that a whole dress size has come off compared to how things fit in June, so progress is clearly happening, just not showing up the way I'd hoped
