Brain still wants pie on Tirz?

Dr. what's-his-name??? The guy that does coke off of toilet seats? šŸ˜‚

Early adopters will be replaced by those waiting for FDA approval. I haven’t started Reta yet, but I'm riding out tirz/sema as long as I can, not waiting for FDA approval for Reta.

I don’t see any of these GLP-1s being ā€œreplaced.ā€ They're just more tools to fight obesity. Liraglutide is still prescribed... and Rybelsus too, even if they aren’t popular.

I saw a video from another forum where they talked about Semaglutide and some of the other weight loss drugs. It sounds like a lot of the earlier weight loss meds had some bad side effects where they messed with your heart, but the new stuff is showing some promise in that area. They were saying it's not really for cosmetic weight loss, but for folks with serious health problems related to weight. another forum

I plateaued on Sema after dropping some weight initially. It's good to know it happens to other people!

That's why I feel less guilty using it, since I had a lot to lose for my health.

I've read a lot about how important lifestyle changes are with these meds. It's not just a magic bullet. You gotta fix your diet and exercise too. I saw a guy on Reddit went from almost 400lbs to under 200 by changing his relationship with food, then used Ozempic to break through a plateau. Crazy transformation!

Yeah, totally agree, Gym_Taco. It's not a free pass to eat whatever you want. It's a tool, but you gotta use it right. It's frustrating that the mental aspect is so strong! I guess it takes time for the brain to catch up with the body.
