Brewing my own BAC water?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Stopped TRT in 2021 after 3 weeks IM—soreness and needle anxiety got to me. Been doing subQ since January. 8-week labs looked great except DHT was low, so bumped from 120 to 180 per week. Main SQ limit is injection volume. I do 3x a week splits and it works fine.

just grabbed some of this stuff and worried about injection sting. thinking about diluting more to dial it down — does anyone know if that actually helps? and where can i find sterile vials in the us?

the 'at least it is a variable you can control' framing is the honest version of the DIY argument - the sterility outcome of home brewing is genuinely uncertain and the certainty of the pharmaceutical version is the thing you are paying for, which at the cost of BAC water is not a meaningful expense. using something you know meets sterility standards for the carrier fluid is the lowest-effort risk reduction available in the whole protocol

The distilled water from a retail source has a different quality assurance profile than pharmaceutical-grade water for injection - retail distilled water is produced for appliances and humidifiers, not for injection, and the absence of pyrogen testing and USP sterility standards is the practical gap. for the carrier fluid in a compound that goes directly into subcutaneous tissue, the pharmaceutical water eliminates a sterility variable that retail distilled water does not

the wet-pouch problem after steam sterilization is the practical challenge that does not come up in the theoretical discussion of home sterilization methods - the steam cycle leaves moisture that has to be managed without introducing new contamination during drying. autoclave-grade pouches that self-seal and dry in the unit address this, but the improvised pressure-cooker approach requires a clean drying step that most people have to work out themselves

the 10 units benzyl alcohol in 10ml sterile water gives approximately 0.9 percent benzyl alcohol by volume, which is close to the standard pharmaceutical concentration - the cosmetic-grade versus pharmaceutical-grade distinction matters because the purity specifications differ, and the pharmaceutical grade is the reference standard that peptide stability testing was done against. the DIY route works but the purity confirmation step is the one most people skip
