Cagri with my Reta - good idea?

Hey everyone, I'm hoping for some advice. I've been taking Reta for a couple of months now, currently at 1.5mg, twice a week. My goal isn't really weight loss; I struggle with BED and wanted better control over my eating habits. It was working great, but in the last couple of weeks I've noticed old habits creeping back in, like not feeling full after meals and binging late at night. I'm planning to add Cagri to the mix. I was thinking of .25mg with each Reta dose. Does that sound right, or would one dose a week be better to start? Will it take a few weeks to notice the effects, like it did with Reta? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I'd pick one peptide and stick with it, since you are on a pretty low dose of Reta. If you're using 1.5mg Reta now, I'd stop it and start on 2.5mg Tirz, which is the lowest dose. But sure, you can use cagri if you've got it. If you aren't trying to lose weight, then maybe stop the Reta and go with Cagri at 0.25mg. For some, Reta can increase appetite, and you don't need that.

I take 3mg of retatrutide weekly (Sundays) and added 240mcg of cagrilintide on Wednesdays. I did it to stretch out my reta titration runway by helping directly with food noise. It's worked pretty well so far. I still like a little bit of a hunger signal so I can get in my 180g of protein, but beyond that, I wanted a stronger deficit. I'm down about 3 pounds this week, same as last week when I started cagri, so I'm happy.

It is important to remember that while these medications can be helpful tools, they should ideally be used in conjunction with lifestyle modifications, such as diet and exercise, and under the guidance of a healthcare professional. It's crucial to address the underlying eating disorder with therapy and support groups.

I agree with @DocInTheBox. It sounds like you're being proactive, @PinLady, but make sure you're also working on the root causes of the BED and bulimia. Meds can help, but they aren't a cure-all. Therapy and support can make a HUGE difference.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I am in therapy, and it's helping, but it's definitely a process. Sometimes I just need a little extra help to get through a rough patch.
