Cagrilintide - am I immune?!

Okay, so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm on 7.5mg of Tirz and moving up to 9mg every 5 days soon. I wanted a bit more appetite control, so I added Cagri last week. I tested a very small dose first to make sure there were no bad reactions. No problems. I did 0.25mg, then 0.15mg a few days later, and nothing happened. My doc suggested I go to 1mg of Cagri next week as I'm tolerating it so well. That seems like a huge jump but he says I tolerate it, still way under the highest dosage. I've heard Cagri can hit hard for some! Has anyone else started that high or just not responded at all? My body loves Tirz, so I'm shocked this Cagri boost isn't doing anything!

Yeah, I have, but I'm kinda immune to everything, lol.

Try dosing every couple of days with .25mg until you feel something. Or wait 2-3 days, then try .5mg until you feel it.

I might know a thing or two… but I haven't tried Cagri myself. It's the new thing, but if it doesn't work and you haven't already, try adding a little Sema on top of your Tirz. It's a great combo for many of us and doesn't cost a fortune! 💜

That's a good point, Funky_Guy. I hadn't thought about that because I'm already on Tirz! I'll see how the Cagri goes for another couple of weeks, but your idea might be the way to go! Thanks!

I was close to my goal weight and wanted to increase appetite suppression without increasing my Tirz dosage.

I added .125mg of Cagri and nothing. Two days later, another .125mg, then two days after that, .3mg. The vial was delayed in the mail for over a month during the summer. I assumed it was bad, so I threw it away. I got a new vial and had the same lack of response, but at about 1.25mg, I noticed my 5th and 6th days on Tirz felt more like the rest of the week, with better appetite control.

I'm past my goal now, so I'm experimenting. I'm currently lowering my Tirz dose and introducing Sema (which I've never tried). I'm not getting any response from the Sema either! 🤷🏻‍♂️ Tomorrow is shot day, and I'll be injecting microdoses of Sema every three days (like I did with Cagri) until I feel something, unless my blood glucose readings tell me otherwise.

I started Cagri at 0.13mg/week eleven weeks ago, increasing by 0.04mg each week. I'm now at 0.6mg every six days. It seems to be doing its job (with Tirz and Reta). I'm pretty sure it takes weeks, not days, to build up and start working effectively.

Thanks for saying that, Avery_96! I had a bad experience stacking Reta a while ago, and I was thinking of going back to it at a lower dose. But your post reminded me that I have some Sema in the freezer that I've never tried before. I might as well give that a shot before trying something that I know has given me problems in the past! Thanks!

I've tried Cagri twice from different sources with good lab results, but I feel nothing at any dose. I'm just numb inside. 😔

Maybe your amylin receptors are already working perfectly, L_M_B_Life? These peptides affect our hormones, so it might just be about finding the right receptors. That might be why Tirz works great for some of us, but others find Sema or Reta better.

Interesting discussion, everyone. I've been looking into some research on similar compounds. I ran across a podcast talking about SLU-PP-332 and other GLP-1 agonists. The long and short of it is that there are a ton of new things being studied right now. Maybe one of those will be the magic bullet for you, L_M_B_Life!

That's really interesting! I'm always interested in hearing about new research. Where can I find this podcast?

I recall reading that some people are exploring SLU as a replacement for Clen and DNP. If it's less toxic then that could be a game changer. I'm going to look into that!

Did every three days on different days—day 1, skip, repeat. Worked great for weight loss. Used a graphing tool to see how it played out. Now trying maintenance so stretched it to every 4 days with a skip day between. Works fine.

you'll be ok. drink a lot and eat small stuff every 2-3 hours. cheese, grapes, peanut butter toast, eggs, whatever. real food with protein matters. stay hydrated. talk to your doc about staying at 2.5 if eating feels impossible.
