Cagrisema - anyone want it?

Interesting combo. I've been reading about SLU-PP-332 which is also a GLP-1 agonist. Seems like there's a lot of research happening in this area. I wonder how cagrisema compares to that?

I'm curious @ProgressPic, can you share where you read about SLU-PP-332? I'm always trying to learn more about this stuff.

Sure thing! I saw some discussion about it on a bodybuilding forum, specifically in relation to using it as a replacement for, uh, *other* fat-loss compounds. I'm not going to get into specifics because that's not really what this forum is about, but it's out there if you look for it.

I'm new to all this. What is GLP-1 even?

GLP-1 stands for glucagon-like peptide-1. It's a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar and also affects appetite. Medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide are GLP-1 receptor agonists, meaning they mimic the actions of GLP-1 in the body. That's why they can be effective for weight loss and managing type 2 diabetes.

Dress in closet since last April, falling off now. Started September 2024, whole new person. Twenty-two, graduating May, marine science degree, Florida dream job, amazing about body now. Can jump, move, no stiffness. Confident. Nausea and anxiety sucked but worth it.

Recovery from a serious lung episode after decades of smoking is a different kind of motivation than most people start with. Near-miss experiences tend to produce the most durable behavioral changes. Weight loss on top of respiratory recovery is an unusually demanding combination - both processes compete for similar recovery resources.

The amylin receptor component is what makes the GI profile steeper than standard GLP-1s - most people work through it by dose 3-4.
