Can I take my shot a little early?

Ok so I messed up. I usually inject my 7.5mg on Tuesdays right before bed. Well, my kiddo had a rough night and I totally didn't remember. I don't want to do it in the morning because it tends to make me queasy - so I wanna wait until tonight.

But I kinda don't want to stick with Wednesdays because of how strong the medication is on the weekends, and some side effects I get. I prefer it to be wearing off by then so I can keep up with the little ones.

So say I do it tonight (Wednesday), can I go back to Tuesdays next week, or am I stuck with Wednesdays now?
 
I think it's plus or minus 72 hours according to the company. I switch it around all the time when I'm traveling or if it's just easier for me. Been on this med since Dec 2022, and had T2D since 2005. I'm 47
 
Yup. You can change it by a day whenever you want.

Everything about injection timing and changes can be found in the patient info literature that comes with your prescription. I advise reading it and keeping a copy for reference. The manufacturer has a lot of helpful info there.
 
Check with your doctor first. Mine said I could shift dosing dates, like Friday to Sunday, never early. That becomes my new day. Also recommended Imodium beforehand for GI concerns. Works so far before travel.
 
Hi @needle-shy! To be honest, not a ton when I started, but I was also being serious about counting calories and eating healthier.

If I hadn't been watching what I ate, I don't think I would have dropped anything significant until the dose increased.
