Canada customs experiences?

Alright my fellow Canucks, a question. I'm not asking for sources, just want to hear about your shipping experiences. I'm way out west, and I know we're a smaller group here. I've tried searching but haven't found much about people's experiences getting stuff shipped here. I saw on another forum that there can be problems. Seems like Vancouver customs is cracking down? Not sure if that's true or not.

So, if you're in Canada, especially BC, what's your experience been like getting stuff from China or US warehouses? Is it pretty easy, a pain, or is it costly if it's from the US? When was the last time you ordered?

I'm thinking about just ordering from a Canadian source, even though it'll cost me a lot more.
 
I ordered from an overseas seller listed on this site and it arrived in 4 days. No issues at all.
 
Before I started my current regime, I ordered from a US lab, pretty expensive place, but I had no problems getting it across the border.

I see a few vendors here have Canadian warehouses. I'm going to start checking them out. The search tool here is amazing! 😁
 
I'm in BC. I placed an order on Jan 5th, maybe closer to the 6th. I got a tracking # on the 8th, and I got my order last Thursday, Jan 22nd.

They were going to ship with FedEx, but I got a Canada Post tracking # that didn't update for almost two weeks.

I heard a lot of people in the vendor's telegram group who ordered in early Jan had their stuff seized in Vancouver. I don't know why, but mine went through Mississauga, got cleared there, and then went to Vancouver. I already placed another order. Hoping they actually use FedEx this time.
 
I've been reading on another forum that shipments have getting seized this month in Vancouver. So you got lucky it went a different way. Probably came from a different distribution center.

I'll keep you posted. We're in the same area, so we'll probably see the same stuff.
 
I'm in la belle province and I've ordered peptides from the US and China. As far as I remember, my packages didn't go through BC.

The order from the US took forever because Customs stopped it. The shipping company (Purolator) didn't forward the requests from Customs and didn't answer my questions for a while. They finally released it, but it took me almost 6 weeks, and a lot of calls to Purolator and the seller. It was not a great experience.

The orders from China were easier (and cheaper). The tracking never worked, but I got the orders in less than 3 weeks, with no problems at the border.
 
Yeah, I've had some stuff coming from the US delayed for weeks. I almost never have a good experience ordering from there if it's sent by regular ground mail.

I hope my next order goes through without problems!

The vendor I'm using will reship if it gets seized, so look around for that guarantee.
 
I know a lot of the good suppliers offer that, but it's annoying if several orders get held up and I'm set back a month or more. I'll just get a couple of vials from the domestic vendor until the Canadian warehouses are restocked. It'll cost more, but less hassle.
 
Oh I get it. I'm not a patient person either lol. I'm waiting on my bac water but I already have my research chems. I don't know if I can wait another few weeks. I might just order some on Amz.
 
I'm on the West Coast too. I have placed over a dozen orders over the last couple years and only had one held by customs. Usually, it takes 3-5 weeks.
 
Yeah, you've got to call around. I heard recently they're only sending it out if stores special order it, otherwise they don't have it. I'm lucky there's a pharmacy supply store near me that carries it. My buddy on the coast gets it from [invalid URL removed] or Shoppers.
 
Interesting, all the Shoppers and LD's I tried turned me down. I'll try the smaller pharmacies tomorrow.
 
Yeah, same here. I went to maybe 6 places before I found one that had it. I think it's the only place in the city.
 
I placed an order on Jan 7th from Saskatchewan. It hasn't arrived, and the vendor seems to have vanished from their website. They sent me photos and a tracking # that works on 17TRACK.net, but that site feels shaky.

According to 17track:

On the 13th, it was at 'Canada Border for customs review,' then 'CA, Customs check' showed up two weeks later, on the day I checked.

I emailed the vendor, but I don't think they will reply since I read some bad things about them. But we'll see.

I've ordered a few times from other vendors without issues, so this is unusual.

It might still show up, but it's been suspicious.

I suggest spending extra for FedEx or something similar.
