Can't believe it's working!

(Reposting because I messed up the date before!)

I was always super skinny until my 20s. I was around 5'0 and barely weighed 100 pounds, ever.

Then I had my first kid at 20 and shot up to almost 160. I busted my butt and got down to 120 over like 5 years, then I got pregnant again.

I reached 180 and that weight wouldn't budge. Then came a bad marriage and a full-blown binge eating problem. I ended up at like 215 with crazy high blood pressure and flirting with pre-diabetes, all before I even turned 40.

I'm 38 now (divorced, thankfully). My blood pressure is only a little high, and the pre-diabetes is gone. I won't say I'm "cured" of the eating issues, because I know I'll need therapy once I'm off this stuff. But this is the ONLY thing that's stopped the binging completely.

I'm feeling good, happy, energized, I can breathe easy, and I'm loving life. 🧡

Just a reminder that we don't allow talk about non-approved versions of these meds, and no selling or offers to sell anything, not even in DMs. Don't answer any DMs offering to sell, they aren't okayed by this forum.

Started April 9th! I had a total "omg is this for real?" moment this morning when I squeezed into some old size 16 jeans I'd stashed away. They actually fit! So, I'm down a pants size and like 25lbs (probably mostly water, lol). But still, yay!

So happy for all of us!

Seriously, congrats! It really works, and it's working for me too. Just be mindful of portions and when you hit your goal, don't overdo it! Keep portions the same. You shouldn't be hungry. Your stomach adapts, just don't stretch it again.

You are glowing! You look so fulfilled! It's incredible to feel comfortable in your own body. I wish I'd known about GLP meds earlier! I never gained weight until my thyroid went haywire. Even with meds, I struggled to lose. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have been a godsend! I plan to stay on a maintenance dose to keep the constant hunger at bay. You might want to think about that, but therapy is always a good idea. Be proud of your success!

Hey! Congrats! You’re doing great! I was diagnosed with binge eating disorder last year when I started at a clinic. They mentioned using a certain medication to help with BED, and it was such a relief to know there are more options if I ever stop the injections. I've also been seeing a dietitian and a therapist (virtually) since starting Wegovy (now on Zepbound), and the extra support has been awesome! You got this!!

Congrats! It's the best feeling. Gives you a real boost of motivation, right?

I see so many awesome transformations. It's not just about the weight loss, but the mental shift, too. It's like, a whole new you!

For those just starting out, don't get discouraged if the scale doesn't move right away. It took a few weeks for me to really notice a difference, but now I'm down almost 30 lbs and feeling great.
