Celebration time!

Hey everyone! I wanted to pass along my good fortune in order to inspire others. Reading similar stories kept me motivated when things got tough. I began back in January at 205 pounds. As of today in October, I'm maintaining at 165 pounds. It shifts so gradually that I didn't always notice, but now I'm seeing the impact! I would like to wish everyone well on their respective journeys!
 
That's awesome, our journeys are pretty similar! I've stalled recently, but it's still progressing, just a bit slower. I'm loving hitting the gym and eating more protein is so much easier now!

Hi! Thanks for the question. Honestly, it was subtle at first. I'd say maybe after the first month I noticed my clothes fitting a *little* looser, but the scale didn't move a ton at first. It was definitely a gradual process!
 
I totally get what you mean about the weight loss being gradual, Ready. I've had moments where I felt discouraged because I couldn't see a huge difference, but then I look back at old photos and it hits me!
 
Such an inspiration! I saw someone online post recently about how much better they felt just being lighter on their feet. I can only imagine how great it must feel to drop 40 lbs!
 
I'm impressed by people's dedication. I saw a post where someone lost 50 lbs in a few months by going to the gym regularly and getting 10k+ steps daily. Incredible!
