CGMs and GLP-1s: Who's Using 'Em?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The vitamin supplements for glp-1 have helped me a ton. Lots of my earlier effects went away and I know I'm getting nutrients and minerals I need.

CGM use on GLP-1s is mostly precautionary - hypoglycemia risk without insulin stacking is low. Freestyle Libre 3 or Dexcom G7 are the two most commonly mentioned here.

CGMs matter most with GLP-1s for T2D and pre-diabetic cases - for everyone else, dose timing and meal response data is the main value.

Lots of FUD in here. Asymptomatic hypoglycemia isnt a legit concern. Part of why doctors resist handing CGMs to people without diabetes, and even plenty of type 2s, is that patients over-interpret every reading and begin acting like type 1s, eating sugar when it dips and making odd choices to flatten the graph on their phone. You're also mistaking the typical early GLP side effects for hypoglycemia. Same for me at first. A CGM has been on my arm for years and my sugar did fall on reta, often sitting around 50-60 mg/dL while I was raising the dose. That is not unusual at all, and it did not scare me.
