Clothes are fitting better!

It's odd... my closet is changing without my permission. I've always been a jeans and oversized flannel type. But lately things are shifting.

Phase 1: "Huh... my jeans feel kinda loose."
Phase 2: "Wait a minute... my shirt's staying tucked in all by itself?!"
Phase 3: "Hang on, I can actually wear a button-down over a t-shirt now?!"
Final Form: This morning I put on a crewneck *under* a button-down and tucked it all in... and it didn't look ridiculous. Jeans are still loose. The world hasn't ended.

I'm half expecting to be shopping for bespoke suits by the time summer rolls around.

That's awesome! It was the same for me. I started this journey because my usual button-ups were too tight across the chest. I had to buy XLs just to have something to wear. Nine weeks later, I can fit back into my old sizes.

Be careful... that's how it begins. Suddenly you're paying attention to details you never noticed before. Sleeve length, how your pants break over your shoes, whether things are tailored or not. Next thing you know, you're arguing about the merits of different linen weaves.

Seriously though, that's one of the best parts of this whole process — clothes actually fitting the way they were intended to. Sounds like your style is evolving!

I got serious about losing weight when my size 7XL shirts started feeling tight, and I couldn't find anything bigger. Being able to buy clothes that actually look good is a great motivator.

That's awesome! I was mortified when a colleague teased me because my jeans were too big Last week. They were four sizes too big! I went out and bought a pair four sizes smaller, thinking they'd be a 'goal' pair. They fit! I almost cried.

Well done, I am so happy for you. I went from a US size 22 to a US size 6 in three years. I still can't believe it when I see myself.

They might not realize you're being monitored. But commenting on your weight isn't their business anyway. Your doctor saying you're healthy should shut it down. Better fitting clothes really helped me too, people shifted from worried comments to compliments. Ninety pounds down is huge!
