Clothing sizes are messing w/my head!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Define 'effective'? Been on peptides for weeks now, just added cartalax a month ago. low back pain is way better—not sure if it's this one or something else, but I'll take it either way.

Oh no, that's such a great problem to have but also genuinely annoying! I did the same thing - waited forever to buy anything new, then finally caved and got a bunch of stuff at one size and now it's all too big. At this point I'm doing thrift store rotation until things actually stabilize.

The feeling-the-same-inside while people treat you differently outside is the body image adjustment that lags the actual change. 27kg down and still seeing the old self is really common and tends to correct over time but rarely on the same schedule as the physical change. Small external anchors like a specific outfit start to shift the internal picture over time.

I've been burned by that twice - bought a whole wardrobe and kept shrinking out of it. Down 130 is incredible though, that's not a small number. Finally hit 5k pace last month which meant I needed a completely different set of clothes for that too.

The loose skin question after 80 lbs is fair to ask - the practical answer depends on where the remaining fat versus true excess skin distinction falls. At goal weight and then 6-12 months stable, the picture becomes clearer and a surgical consultation is more informative.

Fellow size sisters!

And honestly not holding out for an 8 either! Trying to shave off another 3-4 pounds before shifting into maintenance mode. My doctor says I'm already fine where I'm at, but I've had that nice round target number in my head for months now! These final 7-8 pounds are being incredibly stubborn!! But I'm more stubborn!

Both dresses AND slacks! Go treat yourself at that shop! Betting you'll be grinning ear to ear in that fitting room!

This, exactly. Used to wear a much larger size, now fitting into something dramatically smaller, sometimes even smaller sizes are too roomy. Genuinely too big. Yet somehow still reaching for the largest size first, even though the old self never wore anything that small to begin with, always sized up higher than that. Happens constantly, and now none of the old clothes fit right, everything looks off, like drowning in fabric that used to fit perfectly. Still can't stop reaching for those oversized pieces though. Tried sleeping in an old oversized cotton shirt recently and woke up practically tangled and choking in the extra fabric, arms twisted out of the sleeves entirely. No idea why the instinct to grab the big stuff persists. Even bought a formal gown for a family wedding and had no idea what size to order anymore. Still hard committing to buying smaller clothes. Ended up sending that dress back more than once, ordered progressively smaller sizes each time only to find they were still too loose, got frustrated with the wedding date approaching and ran out to a store instead for something that actually fit.
