Collagen & GLP-1s: Worth it?

I'm researching top-notch collagen supplements (powder or liquid) to pair with my GLOW research. Anyone have favorites or useful tips?

I've spent a lot of time looking into this. AI chatbots are really helpful for researching supplement interactions. I asked about overlaps, competing ingredients, absorption rates, timing, and dosage.

For GHK-CU, my AI suggested Collagen Type 1 & 3, a multi-vitamin with Calcium, Magnesium, D3, and Zinc, plus Vit C, and silica from bamboo.

My test subject (f57) is about a month on GLOW. I'm noticing some effects. Her fingers were super skinny and bony, and now they're more filled out. Face skin seems thicker and fuller, with some movement along the jawline and upper neck. Also, her facial skin looks a little shiny. Fine lines are still there, and I haven't seen much change in hair thickness.

Remember, the body decides what to repair, not the peptide. The peptide just signals the process. The supplements provide the building blocks for collagen production.

She injects in the morning and takes supplements 30 minutes later. I considered absorption windows. Subcutaneous absorption takes about an hour to peak. So, when fibroblasts are signaled, the supplements enter the bloodstream. An empty stomach helps absorption by avoiding digestive competition. This gives 60 minutes before breaking the fast for peak plasma curve overlap. (I had an AI model graph the curves).

In case you're still looking, here's my current collagen support stack. Just started this week, so no results yet:

1) Undenatured Type II Collagen pill - 40mg, at night
2) Collagen peptide powder - 12mg, in coffee in the morning
3) Hyaluronic Acid pill - 2000mg, in the morning

I'm not against fried pig skin, but I regularly use 10-15g of Vital Proteins unflavored in my coffee. It blends well and has no weird flavor. The big container lasts about a months and it's not too expensive if you subscribe.

For those interested in skin improvements with weight loss, there are some great compounded skin cream options out there that can help with aging skin. I saw a good presentation on this recently.

Going to order Hospira because Mots-c is really sensitive and doesn't play nice with sketchy BAC water. Be nice if they made 10mL vials though - the bigger ones last forever.

Anyone know where to source SNAP 8? Saw some vendors selling single vials domestically. China pricing shows like $45 for 100mg but the domestic stuff seems cheaper somehow? Where's that coming from? Just curious, no offense intended.

Collagen is worth adding, especially for skin support during weight loss. Marine collagen absorbs better than bovine in most comparisons. Easiest way to stay consistent - stir it into your morning protein routine and forget about it.

KLOW collagen peptides alongside GLP-1 is a reasonable combination for skin support during loss - the collagen synthesis argument has more than bro science behind it. For most people focused on elasticity, collagen plus adequate protein is the practical version before going to peptide stacks.

The 30g collagen dose paired with active training is well above the typical supplementation range but within the range where training-stimulated collagen synthesis shows meaningful improvement in the research - the collagen vitamin C timing and the proximity to exercise are the variables that actually move the needle on tissue incorporation. 10g works at the cellular signaling level but the mechanical loading outcome at 30g is likely different
