Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

I follow those other boards. The best deal now is from a newcomer offering 3 bottles for a good price. Cheaper than any telehealth. Over the last few months new compounding companies are popping up, and old ones are stepping up their game.

For a while, one company was king, not anymore. Another showed up with better pricing, and then lots of others dropped prices a little. Nobody is stockpiling like crazy because of the competition. But legally, these tele-healths and pharmacies might get shut down eventually.
 
I am so sorry. Yes, maybe it would have been worth the chance. I'm worried about stroke, cardiac issues, diabetes and other bad stuff that comes with being overweight, so I get it...
 
That particular story had a happy ending. I talked with her about sourcing, mixing, filtering, and she was like "That's a whole new skill set, a new hobby. I don't need better skin badly enough to go down that rabbit hole." If she changes her mind (she's been a widow for a bit and is in a 'peaceful day' phase), it'll be with the understanding there's a learning curve.
 
Condolences to all. Lost my Amazing Mom a few years back to lung cancer. This was before it was known that GLPs can impact addictions. If she was here right now, I'd get her on it...
 
Hmmm, making me think...thanks. While I would have liked someone guiding me in the beginning, I wouldn't want them to feel responsible if it went wrong. I guess because I feel responsible when I recommend a vacation spot and it isn't their thing, I would feel responsible if this went south...
 
My views on risk assessment being individual come from teaching motorcycle riding. Like everyone who's taught beginners, some of my students died on motorcycles, because bikes are riskier than cars.

Some coaches took it hard, but I never did, because I never pushed anyone who didn't want it badly enough to work at it. I can support, offer my perspective, but I wouldn't make it sound like no big deal.

If my mom was obese AND couldn't assess risk, then I'd be torn. But since she's fully capable mentally, I won't push her to take risks she hasn't personally understood and assessed.
 
My friend's 90-something mom asked if this would help her. She has weight and inflammation issues. I told her it might, but she needs a doctor's prescription.

At some point, something will happen. And grey meds need to not be part of that story. I love her, but I can't help her otherwise.
 
Can you tell me where? My SO insists on paying over $250 monthly because it's from a "real" company. That's still less than my script but I am about to hit my max and then its free. Thank You
