Hey, everyone! Just chatted to a company and they are going to start selling their work platforms separately. Spotted them originally in some syringe tutorials. Just got my pair, finally ditching this plastic thing I've been using.

That exact tray is all over the place, made in China. It's powder-coated metal, *not* stainless! And def not sterile, lol.

They're like 10 bucks over here. 40 is highway robbery.

This guy is playing people for fools who don't know aseptic technique. Someone even commented about how he blocks the airflow in his videos.
 
Okay, so I went with the cheaper ones. Spoke to the vendor, he says his cost is around $30 for materials/labor etc. He claims his are lab quality and powder coated steel. I was concerned about sterilizing the cheaper ones in case the surface is too rough, but they seem ok for now. Thanks for the tip!
 
Sounded like some sales hype to me, the pics look identical. 🤑 As long as you're happy and they work, that's all that matters. It's Amazon, easy to return if they are crap.
 
Totally. He even said if they're not the same, let him know. I like supporting the people who support the community, so that was the real reason.
