I've lost a fair bit on GLP-1s and my face looks totally different, and I also heard that if you plan to lose more weight, to hold out on surgery until you are done completely to not have to go under the knife more than once.
Figure a dermatologist visit makes sense as the next move, though worried they'll just repeat the same advice I've already heard. Won't know until I actually go though. Appreciate you!
Yeah, that's called allodynia. My skin frequently feels irritated like it's been rubbed raw even without anything actually touching it, and it's not always the same location either. Got some other conditions layered on top contributing to it too.
Had a similar prickly sensation on another medication once. Had a guess what it was, but my doctor confirmed it was actually a reaction to something he'd prescribed. In my opinion, always best to check with your doctor first.
Mine felt sort of like that tingling sensation from certain supplements, itchy all over. Faded after about two weeks and hasn't returned. Grab some antihistamines if it's really bugging you.
