Crushed it! BMI back in the healthy range!

protein shakes saved my life on this stuff. with appetite down and digestion slower, i couldn't hit my protein targets otherwise. morning coffee shake (~50g), mid-day sippy (~50g), evening 'wizard brew' with collagen, magnesium, creatine (~15g). gets me to about 115g a day without forcing whole meals.
 
message your doc and say you're barely eating—ask for a refill at 2.5 for another month. right now it's mechanical eating. even when you don't want it, even when it tastes off. calorie-dense stuff like shakes or peanut butter. not as nutritious but you gotta get it in any way you can.
 
Back in the healthy BMI range with the approach you described is the version that tends to hold. The meds-plus-choices combination is the reason outcomes from this method differ from just-the-diet attempts.
