Crushed my goal weight! Woot!

I ballooned to nearly 260 during the pandemic, and now I'm hovering around 175. My initial goal was 180, but breaking the 200 mark was a huge mental victory. Actually, I had to switch to tirzepatide because semaglutide kinda stopped working for me around the 200 mark. Just wanted to encourage everyone just starting out. I read so many of your posts and they helped me!

Way to go! No matter what the naysayers claim about this being an easy way out, those of us using these meds know that we're also making major lifestyle adjustments, striving towards a goal, and that makes our successes real. Congrats!

Amazing!!! I had to also switch to tirzepatide cause sema pooped out on me pretty quick too! My starting weight was around 220 and now I'm at 150. Still going, hoping to drop another 20 or so, slowly but surely. It's not just about seeing the scale go down but more about the permanent shift in how I think about food. Healthier choices all around, no more junk food cravings. It’s kind of a miracle! Congrats on hitting your goal weight!

Woohoo!! My peak weight (that I know of) was about 275 and now I'm around 185 (started sema at ~220). It's a huge difference going from the high 200s to the 100s!

Super happy for you, and I'm looking forward to seeing the 170s myself. Always wanted to get below 180.

You seriously made my day! I started around 255 back in March, and I'm currently at 228. I was feeling unmotivated today, but this definitely helped, so thanks!

Congrats Clean_Dad! This gives me so much hope that I can get there too. I'm 7 weeks in and dropped about 17 pounds. I haven't been under 200 since 2014, so that's a big goal for me!

Wow, amazing! You must look like a new person!

I use calorie tracking to stay on goal and watch my water intake. Eating 1200 to 1500 calories with about 165g protein aiming for 200lbs. Six foot four and heading into my seventies. Taking dosing from research papers first then tweaking based on what actually works for my body.

Getting close now, just about 10 pounds away from the finish line. Thinking once I hit it I might dial back to every other week at 2.5 or maybe 1.25 weekly and see what holds.

Hit weight goal - one gram per pound of target weight for protein protects muscle. Add strength training too.
