Crushing it: 308lbs -> 220lbs!

You look awesome! How long did it take you to drop all that weight?? I'm down about 26 pounds from 275 in like, four months on a similar med. A buddy suggested switching to a different one but I haven't had crazy side effects, so I'm not sure.
 
Wow, how tall are you? You look amazing! I can't imagine carrying that much weight on my frame! As a petite woman, I'm envious. Amazing job! It really IS wild how these meds work. I've lost 84lbs/38kg in about 10 months, so a similar rate. Not at my goal yet!
 
I'm in a similar boat, around 300lbs and aiming for 200lbs. Started at 2.5mg, then 5mg, then 7.5mg. Just started 10mg this month and finally feeling some effect and losing pounds. What dose did you get up to before you really noticed it working?
 
Girl, you look AMAZING! I'm 5'10" and around 270lbs, and I'm so excited to start. They JUST got the medication I want where I live, and I'm hoping to pick it up this weekend. I know everyone's different, but can I ask what you did diet-wise? High protein or a specific calorie target? Weight lifting or mostly walking?
 
Girl, I'm also 5'10" and started at 220lbs. But my 220lbs did NOT look like yours. I'm now around 190lbs but my face still looks puffy. Looking good to start with makes a huge difference, you had a head start!
 
Thanks everyone for the kind words! To answer some questions: It took me about 14 months total. Currently on a maintenance dose of 5mg.
 
I am starting my 3rd month with 7.5 mg today!

I did a mix of everything, honestly. Focused on protein, but I was not super strict. I did try to cut out snacking, though. That made a huge difference. Good luck!
 
no other health stuff besides weight so annual checkups are fine. not adventurous w/ stacking — rotate between main med and NAD mostly, occasional other stuff. so far so good.
