I'm sticking with 0.5 mg because it's working wonders for me. I started on January 14, 2025, at 460 pounds and actually broke a chair in the doctor's office. My doctor gave me this life saving medication since then. Now, I weigh 280 pounds at 5'11". I still have a journey ahead, but I'm so happy with my progress. I'm hitting the gym every day and keeping my calories low.

Fantastic progress!

I've only seen results on the 1mg dose.

Lost 9lb in 4 months. Half of that happened in the last month alone

Went from 190 to 181.2

I'm 62F

Wow, you look fantastic! Do you mind if I use you as motivation???

I really ought to start working out too.... I already walk 10,000 steps every day. I need to push myself harder...

I managed to drop 40 pounds in 6 months... Still approximately 70 more to lose...

You look so slim! I'm not a fan of diet culture or rewarding people for being thin, but I'm also on a low dose of a GLP-1. It's awesome to feel healthy and be your best self. I hope you have a great life! You look amazing.

You definitely don't look like you weigh 280. You look like you're already at your goal weight. Is the extra weight mostly loose skin?

Thanks, everyone! It means a lot to have your support. To answer some questions: I'm focusing on a balanced diet with lots of protein and veggies. As for exercise, I do a mix of cardio and strength training. Keep pushing, all!

I am curious about something... I saw someone post about losing 100lbs and looking great, and someone asked about skin sagging. I'm 40, trying to lose slowly (1-3 lbs a week) to minimize sagging. Any tips?

So, I just started this journey too, like, yesterday! I'm on Ozempic, up to 1mg a week, but still feel hungry sometimes. Am I doing something incorrectly?

It can take time for your body to adjust, Lil_AF. Make sure you are eating enough protein and fiber, and drink plenty of water. If the hunger persists, talk to your doctor.
