Customs Crackdown?

Has anyone else had orders returned lately? I've had a couple get sent back this week from different suppliers, one via expedited and the other via standard. Expedited said customs issues in China, waiting on the other. Is something up, or just bad luck?

Both of mine were stopped *before* leaving China, so it's looking like a China problem. Maybe it's the international situation causing delays?

I think I saw someone mention that certain carriers were refusing packages with white powder from Hong Kong, but not mainland China. Could be related.

I placed an order a few days ago and got an email saying it was sent back due to "the conflict" and that they'd resend it. Doesn't really add up that a shipment from China to Australia would go anywhere near the affected areas.

I'm starting to think it's about money. The carriers are all charging extra because of the conflict, maybe the shipping agents are having to re-quote and resend. Just guessing, though.

It could also be that these vendors use the same freight forwarder, and *that* company is having issues.

For Australia, the vendors ship in bulk to a local reshipping company, probably to make it harder for customs. The tracking looks weird, sitting somewhere local for a week or two before actually moving. No idea if the US does that.

I've never experienced that with my regular supplier. I did order from a new place around CNY, and the tracking only showed movement within my state. What GimmeThePeptides said makes sense now.

I wonder if a valid prescription from a local doctor would allow a compounding pharmacy to ship overseas? Something to look into...

It's interesting to see how the prices vary in different countries.

Is the problem with Chinese customs, or our own? And what about Europe?
I remember reading about someone who got a year's supply while traveling, it was much cheaper than here, even with the trip!

I know someone who had gastric bypass and now has a big supply they can't use. Wish I could get my hands on it! I'm still nervous about surgeries after my hernia repair, so I'll stick with my shots.

If anyone is getting supplies from overseas, make sure they are refrigerated the whole time! They degrade super fast if they aren't kept cold. I've also heard of people injecting directly from vials now instead of pens.

Returns mean customs flagged and sent back, not seized. The pattern varies by entry point and which origin countries are under increased scrutiny.

Guaranteed delivery claims are worth scrutinizing in a customs crackdown environment - the guarantee is only as good as the reshipment policy and how fast they execute it. Eight-day timelines work in stable conditions but customs activity can spike unpredictably by month or route. The more relevant question for right now is whether your vendor has a documented reshipment track record from this specific period, not what they averaged six months ago.

The road-route workaround for Vancouver customs is a real trade-off - slower but avoiding a known chokepoint is often the right call during a crackdown period.
