Didn't notice til I looked back!

This year has been a rollercoaster. The first snapshot is from April, way before I even thought about starting injections, and before I found out about my autoimmune issues, and when my health started going downhill fast.

I began the injections in October, weighing around 295. Now, here we are on Christmas Day. I just noticed the change when I was glancing at photos.

I didn't really see the changes myself, so I was just going by what the scale said (I know, silly me). It was a nice surprise.

Still trying to reach my goals though.

Thanks for posting in this forum!

Just a quick reminder about the rules. We don't allow discussion of semaglutide formulations that aren't FDA-approved, and we don't allow selling or offering to sell any meds, not even in DMs. Don't ask for or reply to a DM from anyone offering that because we don't support them.

If you're new, you might want to check out our . This isn't meant to stop discussion, just to help.

That slow-burn realization happens to so many using this stuff. These kinds of updates really help people trust the process when it feels like nothing's happening. If you're up for it, sharing this in the community could be a big help to others there.

While the numbers on the scale are useful, they aren't always the whole story. I go by how my clothes fit. If I'm buying smaller sizes, I'm doing fine! I only weigh myself once a month, first thing in the morning, before I eat or drink anything, and without clothes. Numbers don't really bother me. I used to be 130 lbs in my late 20s after losing over 100 (and I was also in college and getting divorced), but I'm older now, remarried, and have an 11-year-old. I don't want to be 'underweight' again. They wanted me to gain when I was pregnant.

I'll know I'm at my happy weight when I can fit into my 'goal' outfit. ☺️

I think you look AMAZING, I can really see it! Keep crushing it, Queen 👑!!

I hope you also see some positive autoimmune benefits from the weight loss and the meds! Really amazing progress! The changes are obvious. Keep up the great work.

Body dysmorphia is a real thing. I didn't see a difference in myself either until my clothes started fitting differently. Measurements and progress pics were more helpful to me than stepping on the scale. My doc actually suggested that early on, which I appreciated.

I had a similar thing happen to me! I've dropped about 85 pounds since late July. It's still a work in progress, but getting close to my goal. Currently weigh 319. Feels great!

I never really noticed the difference in my day to day, so i was only going by the number on the scale...
Scale watching can be so misleading! I get such a rush from non-scale victories. Like, I pulled out a pair of jeans that were too tight a while back, and they're baggy now!

I love hearing about that! Feels so good. I was trying to lose weight the old-fashioned way without meds, and wasn't getting anywhere. Now that I'm back on the shot, it's coming off with the same amount of effort!

Thanks everyone for the support! It really helps to hear these things. Kinda hard to see it yourself sometimes, you know?
