Edit: I'm really not trying to bash the physician, I get why he brought it up. It still stung, but I get it. He wasn't trying to be mean.

HW: 193, Current: 112, Height: 5'0".

I just saw my doc, unrelated to weight loss, and I mentioned I was using weight loss meds. I got my bloodwork back, and three times in the notes it says I "appear chronologically advanced for my age." (I'm 29 y/o)

Ouch. Physically fit but kinda wrinkly, I guess!

I'm a medical coder, and I see this ALL the time. It's done for billing. It's usually a canned template they use. Congrats on losing the weight! 🎉

After having my daughter, I dropped some weight. I began at 190 and went all the way down to 160 afterwards. My figure isn’t really bulky, but because i’m only 5'3 I’m apparently considered “obese”.

The new RN handed me my admission form… and I noticed she had written in huge letters:

OBESE

And get this… she even circled it and used red pen!!!

I think it's pretty normal for doctors to include notes like “appears to be the age stated”. I just assume it's protocol. I always hope they'll write something like, “Patient looks incredibly radiant and youthful - what's her secret?” But no such luck yet. 🤣 And I like to think I look decent for my age.

I'm sorry your doctor made you feel bad!! I visited a Dr in Texas back in the day, because I was having bad stomach pains & he said I had gallstones (which I still have). I had just lost around 55 lbs from exercising and eating healthy & he seriously tells me I WAS OBESE! I told him that I had just dropped the weight and was still working on it. Still, he repeats I WAS STILL OBESE!. I felt so discouraged about all my efforts. I left his office feeling horrible. When the receptionist asked if I wanted a follow up appointment. I just shook my head and said, NO WAY!. I never went back. I know it’s not the same situation, but doctors should encourage us. We're trying our best to improve! Those comments do not help! Maybe consider a different doctor. You can do this! 😉❤️

People getting upset that a doctor did their job during an assessment is ridiculous. Most people don't like seeing medical notes because they'd rather not be offended by the truth. Go to a fortune teller if you don't like a medical evaluation. Not directed at OP, but at the commenters. Yikes.

Hey @PeptidePals, don't sweat it too much. I've seen so many of these notes. Sometimes rapid weight loss can make skin look less plump. Have you looked into collagen supplements or perhaps some topical creams?

Thanks for the tip! I have started using some anti-aging creams. Hoping they help!

Saw a guy on Reddit talking about his transformation, said he lost a TON of weight! He's dealing with extra skin. He asked about how people manage the loose skin on their belly, arms, and legs after losing weight. Anyone have experience with that?

Pre-reconstituted peptides need caution. Saw discussion about ipamorelin/CJC-1295 mixed. Ask about shipping cold chain. Solution stability is huge. Run or lift 6 times weekly, do fun runs, smile constantly because things feel possible. Best money ever spent.

You look incredible and that dress is stunning! I switched from Ozempic (only lost 15, then gained it back) to Zepbound last week. Your before and afters actually make me feel optimistic about my own shot.
