Done with maintenance! Now what?

New_Gang There is this study showing that some people do maintain their weight loss after stopping. But it emphasizes the importance of continuing diet and exercise. There may be individual variability in how people respond after stopping, which is something that needs more research.

That's a really solid take. Starting with calorie counting gave you awareness most people skip—you actually saw your patterns, triggers, habits instead of just covering them up. Even if it wasn't enough alone, that self-awareness is huge for keeping it off later. You fixed the 'why,' now the meds handle the 'how.'

I'll be honest, I went 1mg week 1, then 2, then 3, then I ran out of my vial (expensive!) so did 1.5, then back to 3 when the new stuff came. Don't know if I'm getting used to it, but I felt less effects with the last dose than before. Maybe this batch isn't as strong? Should I jump to 4mg?

doc lowered my Mounjaro and now on my second shot at 7.5 i'm way gassier than before. both ends! is that a known backward-dosing thing?

I've been careful with my dosing—listening to how my body reacts with things like heart rate, sleep, and real appetite. Wasn't gonna push it if it was beating me up. Ended up going faster and higher than the standard protocol. My lean mass has stayed pretty solid through it all.
