Wow, real compassionate take there. Plenty of people move to higher doses after tolerating the smaller ones fine. Most come out okay, but some, like OP here, don't. Guess your take is they all just get what's coming to them?
 
Talked to my doctor about spending a month on the half-milligram amount before moving up, but he wasn't worried at all. And jumping straight to 1mg gave me zero nasty side effects. Honestly didn't notice any effects whatsoever.
