Dose Day Eve Shenanigans!

So that's why I devoured a box of cookies last night! 🤣 Just started on this journey, and my next injection is due today. I was wondering why I felt so hungry!
 
Totally! I do my shot on Fridays so I don't overindulge during the weekend. I always look forward to a nice meal or snack and a movie that night. 🙂
 
The appetite suppression hit me pretty fast. Most days I'm just doing two meals, maybe three around dose day. That food noise definitely quiets down once you find your therapeutic window.
 
Seriously! I'm taking my shot tomorrow morning, and I'm absolutely ravenous today. I already had breakfast and lunch, and it's only 10 AM!
 
Same here. I'm super hungry. I enjoy a Sunday roast, and I haven't had to give that up. But on Monday evenings, meat is a big no-no.
 
I get it! I took my first shot a week ago Friday, and this past Thursday, I was starving! But because of this forum, I knew it was going to happen.
 
It's amazing how this stuff changes your relationship with food. The other day, I ordered a steak, and I could barely eat half of it. It would have been unthinkable before!

That's awesome! It really makes you think about what your body really needs, not just what you want. It's like having training wheels for a healthier lifestyle.
